The District has set the dates and times for middle and high school students to pick up their MCPASD-issued device for the 2020-21 school year, Director of Secondary Education Laura Love said.

Students in grades 5-12 will receive a Chromebook. Students can use their own device although the District is encouraging families to pick up an MCPASD-issued device for each of their students as a backup, Love said.

Devices can be picked up at the middle or high school a child attends. CSCS, Glacier Creek and Kromrey will provide school supplies and library material distribution at the same dates and times as technology pick-up. MHS will provide devices Aug. 25-28. School supplies and library material distribution will take place Sept. 1-4. Families will receive a separate communciation from MHS principal Peg Shoemaker with more information on the September dates.

This year, staff will also become acquainted with their students through Advisory sessions that will take place starting Sept. 1 and/or through Back-to-School Orientation ngihts the previous week.

All of these events will take place virtually. More information will be provided by school principals in the next week or two related to how to access the above events virtually and regarding specific school schedules.
