2023 Sustainable Middleton Award
Eight individuals, organizations, and businesses will each receive a 2023 Sustainable Middleton Award. The City of Middleton Sustainability Committee launched the Sustainable Middleton Awards program in 2022 in order to recognize individuals, businesses, and organizations that have taken significant sustainability actions over the past year or more and to encourage others to do the same. These actions include energy (renewables, efficiency, or conservation), land stewardship, environmental education, food, transportation, waste reduction, water conservation, and runoff reduction.
On Monday, March 18, 2024, the Sustainability Committee unanimously approved the list of this year's winners, selected among fifteen nominations.
