The Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District is honored to introduce Mandy Harvey as the new principal of West Middleton Elementary School. Principal Harvey brings with her not only a suite of professional qualifications but also a deeply rooted connection to our community.
With a background that boasts over twenty years in education across various districts and specialized degrees in both social work and educational leadership, her extensive experience is set to enrich the school's already vibrant atmosphere. Principal Harvey steps into this role after serving as the Coordinator of Student Services at Sauk Trail Elementary, with a history that includes being a principal, a social worker, and a coach in positive behavior support and instruction.
Her personal ties to the community couldn't be any closer. She is a parent of two MCPASD students and has a long-standing relationship with West Middleton Elementary as a parent herself, allowing for a unique perspective on the school's family-centric values.
As Principal Harvey takes on her new role, she does so with an approachable leadership style and an open-door policy. Her commitment is to nurturing academic rigor within a supportive and inclusive environment where every student, staff member, and family feels they belong.
