Join our district in celebrating Black History Month!
Tony Dugas, Director of Student, Family, and Staff Engagement, had the privilege of sitting with the Kromrey Middle School Young Sirs group to gain insight into this vital celebration. With their advisor, James Adams, Young Sirs group is an all-male club dedicated to teaching our black and brown students essential values and morals.
Kromrey Middle School played a significant role in a recent legislative district tour hosted by Wisconsin Representatives Alex Joers and Mike Bare. Middleton Mayor Emily Kuhn joined the fun by attending the tour!
Principal Dom Ricks and Associate Principal Eric Engel provided valuable insights about the school's history and unique features, including its proximity to the Pheasant Branch Conservancy.
Thank you to Representatives Joers and Bare for including our district on your Legislative District Tour.

During the week of February 5, 2024, we honored our incredible school counselors during National School Counseling Week! Their skills, knowledge, and expertise are crucial in supporting our students' academics, future careers, and emotional well-being. While it's a week nationally, here at MCPASD, we are grateful every day.
February 15, 2024, was National School Resource Day. We want to express our gratitude for the protection our officers provide and their role in helping our students succeed academically. Their guidance, mentorship, and willingness to connect with students contribute significantly to their overall educational experience.
All aboard the appreciation bus!
MCPASD Celebrated Wisconsin School Bus Driver Appreciation Week, which took place from February 12 to 16th.
Although we truly appreciate our bus drivers daily, this particular week allows us to go the extra mile to show our gratitude. They deserve all the love and admiration we can give!
After all, with our amazing bus drivers at the wheel, every road trip becomes a magical adventure filled with safety, laughter, and cherished memories.
February is also Career and Technical Education Month. A big thank you to our CTE teachers for opening up various opportunities for our students.
For our high school-level families, take this month to explore the Youth Apprenticeship program, which offers valuable skills to jumpstart a career, provides payment, and earns a State-issued skill certificate. Visit the MHS Youth Apprenticeship webpage for more details on student employment opportunities at MCPASD.
That brings us to the end of this month's edition of Monthly Update with Monogue.
Thanks to James Adams and the Young Sirs for sharing their insights.
Remember, it's the collective efforts of each one of you that make our district truly special.
