This week Secondary Education Program students from the University of Wisconsin-Madison visited Middleton High School to observe and engage with language teachers and learners.

The visit was part of their master's degree program that will allow them to teach 'English as a second language' (ESL) courses.

This was a great opportunity for the UW students to learn how English language learners are supported in schools. It also served as a great example for our MHS students about all the potential career options in the educational and ESL field.

Thank you again to our friends at UW-Madison! We wish them the best of luck as they continue on into their student teaching program!
