Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month | Meet the S.A.F.E Team | Meet Alejandra
Our Bilingual Student and Family Engagement Specialists (SAFE) go above and beyond for our families! They serve as a resource for our bilingual students and families. Among their many duties, they support students outside of class, help run clubs and organizations such as the Latinx Student Union, communicate important information, and form trusting relationships with families. Meet one of the team members that helps ensure that both our students and families feel supported!
Meet Alejandra! She has worked in the District for over eight years but recently celebrated her
second year as a Billingual Student and Family Engagement Specialist. As a parent herself, Alejandra understands it is important for families to have
someone in the District they can connect with. What she enjoys most
about her position is getting to know her students and families personally and creating trusting relationships.
Fun Fact: Alejandra went to Kromrey Middle School and graduated from Middleton High School after she and her family moved to the area from Mexico!
