Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month | Meet the S.A.F.E Team
The Bilingual Student and Family Engagement Specialists (SAFE) go above and beyond to serve as resources for our bilingual students and families. Among their many duties, they support students outside of class, help run clubs and organizations such as the Latinx Student Union, communicate important information, and form trusting relationships with families.

Meet Jannyce
She has enjoyed her role as a Billingual Student and Family Engagement
Specialist for 5.5 years. She loves building friendships with her students, but her favorite part of her role is building relationships with families. Overall she is thankful for the opportunities and connections the role has brought to her.
Fun Fact: Jannyce once played professional volleyball for her hometown team, Capitanas de Arecibo in Puerto Rico.
